Ulsys has been very successful in achieving grant funding for development work. Grants relevant to the pressure monitoring device already received are:
UK: SMART £250,000.
A combination of micro and feasibility awards for product development. This allowed the initial research and design work for the pressure monitor to be performed.
EU: CRAFT €1,000,000 (approx £650,000).
Co-operative research award. This was for Product Development and involved a consortium of companies working with Blueprint to develop pressure sensing technology.
Ulsys is currently pursuing a number of further grant opportunities to assist in the continuing development of our technology. These include: GRD, i4i, SBRI and
EU Framework 7.
